Order relations on induced and prime ideals in the enveloping algebra of a semisimple Lie algebra (Q852658)

Let \(\mathfrak g\) be a complex semisimple Lie algebra and let \(U(\mathfrak g)\) denote its enveloping algebra. In the first two sections of the paper under review the author investigates the characteristic variety of an ideal in \(U(\mathfrak g)\) induced by a primitive ideal in the enveloping algebra of a Levi subalgebra of \(\mathfrak g\). The last section is devoted to the study of the characteristice variety for a prime ideal.
