Optimization of power management in an hybrid electric vehicle using dynamic programming (Q853252)

The authors explain what their physical equation is and write down an abstract model of the equation with power as the variable of interest. They specify particular problems of interest and suggest a method of solving them by discretization. Results are given in graphical form for some problems. These is very litte mathematics in their paper and many of the formulae used are derived in the references given, access to some of which will be difficult.
