Equivariant cohomology of the wonderful group compactification. (Q858733)

For a semisimple adjoint group \(G\) the `wonderful' group compactification is a canonical \(G\times G\)-equivariant compactification of \(G\) [\textit{C. De Concini} and \textit{C. Procesi}, Lect. Notes Math. 996, 1-44 (1983; Zbl 0581.14041); \textit{E. S. Strickland}, Math. Ann. 277, 165-171 (1987; Zbl 0595.14037)]. In this paper the rational \(G\times G\)-equivariant cohomology ring of this compactification is computed, using the tools of [\textit{E. Bifet, C. De Concini} and \textit{C. Procesi}, Adv. Math. 82, No. 1, 1-34 (1990; Zbl 0743.14018); \textit{E. Strickland}, Math. Ann. 291, No. 2, 275-280 (1991; Zbl 0725.20030)].
