A new type of regularity for nonlinear generalized functions is presented. This type of regularity is based on the notion of regular growth with respect to the regularizing parameter of the Colombeau simplified model. These regularities are characterized, for compactly supported generalized functions, by the property of their Fourier transforms. Global regularity of compactly supported generalized functions is considered. Local and microlocal R-regularity are considered. This is a complete study of these topics via suitable results of embeddings.
