A new a priori error estimation of the remainder term of a perturbed trapezoidal quadrature rule as a method of successive approximations to the solution of initial value problems of ordinary differential equations (ODE's), is constructed. This remainder term contains the third derivative of the function \(f(x,y)\), which verifies a Lipschitz condition in the second argument, with Lipschitz constant \(L\), instead of fourth derivative of \(f\) which increases the number of terms in the error estimation.
