Verma modules for Yangians (Q862919)

For any \(n\)-tuple \(\mu(u)\) of formal power series with negative exponents, the Verma modules \(M(\mu(u))\) over the Yangian \(Y(\mathfrak{a})\) associated with a simple Lie algebra \(\mathfrak{a}\) are studied in the present paper. Some necessary and sufficient conditions for the irreducibility of \(M(\mu(u))\) are obtained. Finally, regarding the simple quotient \(L(\mu(u))\) of \(M(\mu(u))\) as an \(\mathfrak{a}\) module, necessary and sufficient conditions for the finite-dimensionality of the weight subspaces of \(L(\mu(u))\) are given.
