The boundary Harnack principle was established first of all in the Sierpiński carpet. The proof in that case resembled the one for intervals in the real line. In the present article the author is influenced by \textit{K. Bogdan} [Stud. Math. 123, 43--80 (1997; Zbl 0870.31009)] who solved the problem in the case of Lipschitz domains in \(\mathbb{R}^N\). The author's methodology in proofs is different and can be described as follows. He does not use analytic tools and exact formula for the Poisson kernel of the ball. The author's aim is to present a more general approach relying on the Ikeda-Watanabe formula.
