A singularly perturbed system of coupled convection-diffusion Dirichlet boundary-value problems with diffusion parameters of different magnitudes are considered. To solve these problems, classical upwind finite difference schemes are applied on arbitrary meshes. Perturbation parameters-uniform error estimates are derived for certain layer-adapted meshes. Numerical experiments are presented supporting the theoretical results.
