      The authors consider the following elliptic problem \[ -\Delta u-\sum^k_{i=1}{\mu_i\over |x-a_i|^2} u= \sum^k_{i=1} {u^{p_i-1}\over |x-a_i|^{s_i}},\quad x\in\Omega,\tag{1} \] \[ \begin{aligned} u> 0\quad &\text{in }\Omega,\tag{2}\\ u= 0\quad &\text{on }\partial\Omega,\tag{2}\end{aligned} \] where \(\Omega\subset\mathbb{R}^d\) \((d\geq 3)\) is a smooth bounded domain such that the different points \(a_i\in \Omega\), \(i= 1,\dots, k\), \(k\geq 2\), \(0< s_i< 2\), \(0\leq \mu_i<\overline\mu:= ({d-2\over 2})^2\), \(p_i= 2^*(s_i):={2(d- s_i)\over d-2}\), are the Sobolev-Hardy exponents. The authors provide conditions guaranteeing the existence of positive solutions for (1)--(3). To this end, the authors use a variational method.
