Results dealing with the behavior of the integrated density of states of random divergence operators (Q876103)

The author considers the random divergence operator \[ H_\omega:=-\nabla A^{-1}_\omega\nabla= \sum^d_{i,j=1} \partial_{x_i}(a_{ij}(\omega, x)\partial_{x_j}),\tag{1} \] where \(A_\omega\) is an elliptic, \(d\times d\)-matrix valued, \(\mathbb{Z}^d\)-ergodic random field. He is mainly interested in the behaviour of the integrated density of states for (1) on the internal band edges of the spectrum. The main result is based on the technique of periodic approximations.
