Karoubianness of a triangulated category (Q876364)

The authors prove that any triangulated category with a bounded \(\,t\)-structure is Karoubian. As consequences, it follows that: (A) The bounded derived category \(\, D^b({\mathcal A})\,\) of any abelian category \(\,\mathcal A\,\) is Karoubian; (B) If \(R\) is a commutative Noetherian complete local ring, and \(\,\mathcal A\,\) is an Ext-finite abelian category over \(R\), then the bounded derived category \(\, D^b({\mathcal A})\,\) is a Krull-Schmidt category.
