The \(2\)-simple prehomogeneous vector spaces of type I have been classified by \textit{T. Kimura, S. Kasai, M. Inuzuka} and \textit{O. Yasukura} [J. Algebra 114, 369--400 (1988; Zbl 0658.20026)]. In the present paper the authors find explicit constructions of relative invariants of such spaces thereby completing the work started by \textit{T. Kogiso, G. Miyabe, M. Kobayashi} and \textit{T. Kimura} [J. Algebra 251, 27--69 (2002; Zbl 1034.14024)], and \textit{T. Kogiso, G. Miyabe, M. Kobayashi} and \textit{T. Kimura} [Math. Comput. 72, 865--889 (2003; Zbl 1068.11076)].
