The authors consider so called ``generalized linear forms'' of the Koksma type. This construction generates a natural class of sequences on the \(s\)-dimensional torus \(\mathbb{T}^s=[0,1)^s\). The main results of the paper extend metric results for pair correlation functions due to \textit{I.~Berkes, W.~Philipp} and \textit{R.~Tichy} [Ill. J. Math. 45, 559--580 (2001; Zbl 1015.11034)] to the multidimensional case. The proofs depend on the classical Erdős-Gál-Koksma approach and on Fourier-analysis arguments, mainly on the Hunt-Carlson inequality.
