This article deals with the topological properties of the basins of attraction of Newton's maps. Precisely, the results concern the Newton's map \(N\) used to solve the common roots of \(P(x,y) = x(1-x)\) and \(Q(x,y) = y^2 + Bxy - y\). In that case, there are invariant circles \(S_0 \subset \{ x = 0 \}\) and \(S_1 \subset \{ x = 1 \}\) which are superattracting in the horizontal direction and repelling in the vertical one. The author proves the existence of superstable separatrices \(W_0\) and \(W_1\) associated to those circles. By resolving the points of indeterminacy of the iterates of \(N\), he produces a modified space in which these separatrices are analytic varieties. Moreover, he establishes that if \(W_i\) (\(i=1,2\)) intersects the critical value locus of \(N\), then the first homology group \(H_1(W_i,\mathbb{Z})\) is infinitely generated. The proof relies on the construction of a homomorphism \(H_1(W_i,\mathbb{Z}) \to \mathbb{Q}\), defined by a linking between closed 1-cycles in \(W_i\) and a suitable 2-current.
