Let \(\mu_{p,k}(M,g)\) be the \(k\)th eigenvalue of the Hodge Laplacian acting on coexact \(p\)-forms of an \(n\)-dimensional compact orientable Riemannian manifold \((M^n, g)\) where \(n\geq 3\). For any conformal class \(C= [g]\) of Riemannian metrics \(g\) on \(M\), let us denote \[ \mu^c_k(M, C)= \inf_{g\in C}\mu_{[{n\over 2}],k}(M, g)\,\text{Vol}(M, g)^{2/n}. \] The author proves the inequality \[ 0< \mu^c_k(M, C)\leq \mu^c_k(S^n, C_{\text{can}})\leq k^{2/n} \mu^c_1(S^n, C_{\text{can}}), \] where \(C_{v}\) is the conformal class of the canonical metric on the sphere \(S^n\). If moreover \(g\) is a smooth metric that realizes the infimum \(\mu^c_1(M, C)= \mu^c_1(M, [g])\) and \(n\not\equiv 1\pmod 4\) then there exists a coexact eigenform of degree \([{n-1\over 2}]\) without constant length. On a 4-manifold with nonvanishing Euler characteristics, there is no such extremal metric.
