An ideal of sets in a topological space is \textit{topological} if it is invariant under all autohomeomorphisms of the space. The authors study (\(\sigma\)-)ideals on the Hilbert cube. Thanks to the very strong homogeneity of this particular space, the ideal \(\mathcal{M}\) of meager sets is maximal among the invariant ideals generated by sets with the Baire property and the \textit{maximum} among the ideals generated by their \(\sigma\)-compact elements. The two ideals of main interest in this paper are \(\sigma\mathcal{C}_0\), the \(\sigma\)-ideal generated by the zero-dimensional Z-sets, and \(\sigma\mathcal{G}_0\), the \(\sigma\)-ideal generated by so-called tame dense \(G_\delta\)-sets. The authors calculate their cardinal characteristics, those for \(\sigma\mathcal{C}_0\) are closely connected to those for \(\mathcal{M}\), the characteristics for \(\sigma\mathcal{G}_0\) less so.
