Along with non-commutative geometry introduced by A. Connes, one can study non-associative geometry, i.e., the geometry of non-associative algebras. This is an excellent project worth of serious investigation. There are already established examples, e.g., the Jordan algebras. The so-called Hom-associative algebras were introduced in [\textit{A. Makhlouf} and \textit{S. Silvestrov}, Forum Math. 22, No. 4, 715--739 (2010; Zbl 1201.17012)]; roughly, it is an algebra \({\mathcal A}\) with an endomorphism \(\alpha\) such that \(\alpha(a)(bc)=(ab)\alpha(c)\) for any \(a,b,c\in {\mathcal A}\). The authors of the paper under review generalize a toolkit of non-commutative geometry, like the Hochschild, cyclic and periodic cyclic homology, to the case of the Hom-associative algebras. A draft of the paper is available at \texttt{http://arxiv.org/abs/1504.03019}.
