The authors consider a three-dimensional problem of electromagnetic diffraction in a piecewise homogeneous medium, allowing domains with different dielectric properties and ideally conducting inclusions in the form of solid objects and screens. They equivalently translate the problem in the form of a system of integral equations with strong singularities. Consequent numerical results are obtained through the application of quadrature formulas for hypersingular integrals.
