By reminding us of the fact that some functions are not defined at certain points, the author motivates the study of logics for sentences which may be neither true nor false because a term in them has no referent - is a type of ``nonsense'' term. Unfortunately the author does not repeat her formulation of system Z given in ``On some three-valued propositional logic'' [Acta Univ. Wratislav. 1017, Logika 13, 41-49 (1988)]. Diligent readers may recover system Z from a matrix she gives for it. However, the author's main concern is not the system Z; but an algebraic study of matrices for Z. She constructs a class K of non- Boolean algebras as matrices of Z and shows that algebras belonging to K are decomposable into disjoint subalgebras which are Boolean.
