The paper is the continuation of a paper by \textit{A. K. Gupta} and the first author [see Commun. Algebra 8, 1291-1333 (1980; Zbl 0442.16021)]. Let M be a left R-module, S be the endomorphism ring of M. For any left R-module N the group \(H=Hom_ R(M,N)\) is in a natural way a left S- module. For any \(A\in R\)-mod, let \(\tau_ H(A)=\sum_{f\in Hom(A,N)}(A)f\). The authors define the \(\tau_ M\)-Jacobson radical and the \(\tau_ M\)-socle of a given left R-module M. Using these definitions the Jacobson radical and the socle of the module \({}_ SH\) is described in the case, when M is a finitely generated left R-module and N is a projective left R-module (theorem 2.18). The authors investigate in which cases the module \({}_ SH\) is local, hollow, semiperfect. The problems of finding the singular submodule and the Krull dimension of the module \({}_ SH\) are considered.
