Number of critical points for a quasiperiodic potential (Q923442)

The metric density of the distribution of critical points of a quasiperiodic potential U(x), \(x\in {\mathbb{R}}^ n\) with critical values less than a given u is considered in dependence on u. It turns out that this function is continuous in u for a large set of potentials. Further properties of the density function are described in terms of the elements determining the quasiperiodic potential.
