In this work, the author continues with the analysis of truncated biparabolic subalgebras (also called algebras of seaweed type) of simple complex Lie algebras [\textit{A. Joseph}, Bull. Sci. Math. 131, No. 3, 276--290 (2007; Zbl 1141.17007)]. It is known that companion matrices form a slice to the regular co-adjoint orbits of the Lie algebra \(\text{sl}(n,C)\). This result is considerably generalized in this article. Using elements in the dual \(Q\) of biparabolic subalgebras, an algebra isomorphism of the invariant subalgebra \(Y(q)\) associated to this element onto an algebra \(R[y+V]\) is given, where \(V\) denotes a subspace of \(Q\). Further, it is proven that the nilfibre of quotient maps exhibit a large number of irreducible components containing a regular element.
