The cohomology of monogenic extensions in the noncommutative setting. (Q934046)

The authors develop tools for computing the Hochschild cohomology ring for the monogenic extensions \(K[x,\alpha]/\langle f\rangle\) of a separable \(k\)-algebra \(K\), where \(K[x,\alpha]\) is an Ore type extension. In particular, they succeed to compute the Hochschild cohomology ring for all the rank one Hopf algebras.
