The aim of the article under review is to present several partial results related to the oscillation stability problem for the Urysohn sphere, a problem about the geometry of the Urysohn sphere \(U\), which can, in some sense, be seen as an analog for \(U\) of the distortion problem for \(l_2\). It is shown that this problem reduces to a pure combinatorial problem involving a family of countable ultrahomogeneous metric spaces with finitely many distances.
