A Matsumoto-type theorem for linear groups over some completed quantum tori (Q946940)

Let \(F\) be a field. Matsumoto described the kernel \(K_2(l,F)\) of the homomorphism \(St_l(F)\to E_l(F)\). The kernel describes the nontrivial relations between elementary matrices. The author obtains a similar result with \(F\) replaced by the completed quantum torus \(K_q= F(\!(X_1)\!)[X_2,1/X_2],\) where \(q\) is a nonzero element of \(F\) and \(X_2X_1 = qX_1X_2\).
