Consider that the roots \(\alpha_j\) of the polynomial with complex coefficients: \(x^n+a_{n-1}x^{n-1}+\dots+a_0\), satisfy the conditions Re\(\,\alpha_j\geq0\). The author proves first that if \(Y\) is a solution of the differential equation \(Y^{(n)}+a_{n-1}Y^{(n-1)}+\dots+a_0Y=0\) then, essentially, we have the optimal inequality \[ | Y(0)| \leq c n^2\int_0^1| Y(t)| dt,\;n\in \mathbb N. \] This is an important improvement of a previous result by G. Halász, mentioned in the \textit{P. Turán}'s book [A new method in analysis and its applications. Budapest: Akadémiai Kiadó (1953; Zbl 0052.04601)], where instead of the exponent \(2\), the exponent \(5\) appears. Other similar type inequalities are then established. The paper uses an interesting technique based on linear recursive sequences.
