    The authors are interested in an initial value problem for the real valued fifth order Kadomtsev-Petviashvili equation. \[ \begin{cases} \partial_t u + \alpha \partial_x^3 u + \partial_x^5 u + \partial_x^{-1} \partial_y^2 u + u \partial_x u = 0 \\ u(0,x,y)=\phi(x,y) \end{cases} \] The authors proved Saut-Tzvetkov's conjecture concerning globally well-posedness of the above problem. More precisely it is prove that the problem is locally and globally well-posed for initial data \(\phi\) such that \(| \xi^{-1}| \hat{\phi}(\xi,\eta)\in {\mathcal S}'({\mathbb R}^2)\) and \(\phi\in H^{s_1,s_2}({\mathbb R}^2)\) where \(H^{s_1,s_2}({\mathbb R}^2)\) is an anisotropic Sobolev space with nonnegative smoothness indices \(s_1\) and \(s_2\).
