[For the review of the 1st ed. see (2008; Zbl 1151.70300).] This short course of lessons about classical mechanics consists of 4 parts. Part 1. Mechanics of a material point (Newtonian laws and simple mechanical systems. Conservation laws and impacts. Two-body problem. Oscillations. Multi-particle systems and transformation to continuum). Part 2. Variational principles and relativistic mechanics. Part 3. Canonical formalism in mechanics. Part 4. The dynamics of rigid bodies. The book could be useful for students of physics and experimental physics, as well as for mathematicians who needs some base knowledge of mechanics.
