The topological degree in ordered Banach spaces (Q953219)

This paper deals with some applications of the classical topological degree theories to nonlinear problems involving various classes of operators acting between ordered Banach spaces. In this framework, the Leray--Schauder degree for compact operators, the Browder--Petryshyn degree for \(A\)-proper operators [\textit{F.\,E.\thinspace Browder} and \textit{W.\,V.\thinspace Petryshyn}, Bull.\ Am.\ Math.\ Soc.\ 74, No.\,4, 641--646 (1968; Zbl 0164.17003); J.~Funct.\ Anal.\ 3, 217--245 (1969; Zbl 0177.42702)], and the Amann--Weiss degree for an admissible class [\textit{H.\,Amann} and \textit{S.\,A.\thinspace Weiss}, Math.\ Z.\ 130, 39--54 (1973; Zbl 0249.55004)] are considered, and several existence results are obtained. The non-Archimedean cone case is also discussed.
