      The Authors consider the following subelliptic Schrödinger type initial-boundary value parabolic problem \[ \begin{cases} u_t = \Delta_{G,p} u + V(x) u^{p-1} &(x,t)\in \Omega \times (0,T),\;\;1<p<2\\ u(x,0) = u_0(x) &x\in \Omega\\ u(x,t) = 0 &(x,t) \in \partial\Omega \times (0,T)\end{cases} \] where \(\Delta_{G,p}\) denotes the subelliptic \(p\)-Laplacian on the Carnot polarizable group \(G\). The non-existence of positive solutions to the above problem is investigated by a Hardy-type inequality with sharp constant.
