Transferring techniques and ideas from the setting of finite-dimensional Lie groups to the setting of Banach-Lie groups, is far from being straightforward and in many cases just impossible. In [Adv. Math. 208, No.~1, 299--317 (2007; Zbl 1108.22008)] \textit{D. Beltiţă} and \textit{T. Ratiu} studied geometric realizations for unitary representations of the unitary group \(U\) of a \(C^*\)-algebra \(A\), which are restrictions of certain Gelfand-Naimark-Segal representations of \(A\). They considered certain versions of reproducing kernels on vector bundles in order to build the representation spaces, following techniques that have been successfully applied in the setting of finite-dimensional Lie groups [see \textit{K.-H. Neeb}, Holomorphy and convexity in Lie theory. de Gruyter Expositions in Mathematics. 28. Berlin: de Gruyter (2000; Zbl 0936.22001)]. In this paper, the authors extend the results obtained for the unitary group of a \(C^*\)-algebra \(A\) to a broader setting that includes the full group \(G\) of invertible elements of \(A\). To do so, they have to develop a special theory of reproducing kernels on vector bundles. The paper contains a final section with a rich number of examples, in particular: orbits of representations of nuclear \(C^*\)-algebras and injective von Neumann algebras, similarity orbits of conditional expectations.
