As compared to previous papers that try to get control on the perturbative series of massive \(\phi^4\)-theory in four dimensions the motivation and consequently the results of the present article are different. It is seen as part of a larger program to rigorously control the properties of the Schwinger and the Green functions of specific quantum field theories with the aid of differential flow equations. The aim here is to control the large order behavior of perturbation theory using the concept of local Borel transform and at the same time to control the large momentum behavior. These bounds appear as an input in the flow equations and in the Schwinger-Dyson equations. Much care is spent in order not to produce astronomical constants in these bounds. The paper is organized as follows. Kopper first presents the framework of the flow equation. He then collects some elementary auxiliary bounds needed in the proof of subsequent propositions and the main result. These bounds depend on the momenta of external legs and are much sharper as compared to those used in previous proofs.
