In [``New abstract Hardy spaces'', J. Funct. Anal. 255, 1761--1796 (2008; Zbl 1171.42012)], \textit{F. Bernicot} and \textit{J. Zhao} introduced an abstract construction of molecular and atomic Hardy spaces, with the usual averages substituted by a family of operators. In the paper under review, the author continues the analysis of these spaces, including the description of real interpolation spaces between Hardy and Lebesgue spaces as Lorentz spaces, based on Peetre's \(K\)-functional, with the use of maximal operators and good lambda inequalities. With the help of bilinear interpolation, applications to bilinear operators on Lebesgue spaces is given, as well as to bilinear operators of Calderón--Zygmund type and to quadratic linear functionals.
