On convexity of solutions of ordinary differential equations (Q972479)

The authors prove a result on the convexity of solutions of ordinary differential equations \[ \dot{\psi}(t)=f(t,\psi (t)) \] on an ordered finite-dimensional real vector space \(E\). The proof is based on the ideas from [\textit{P. Volkmann}, Math. Ann. 203, 201--210 (1973; Zbl 0251.34039)]. As an illustration, an example of a system of ODEs that arises naturally in the theory of stochastic processes is given.
