Twisted analytic torsion (Q973761)

The paper reviews the construction of analytic torsion of Ray and Singer and its modification involving twisting by a flux form which was introduced recently by the authors. In the current paper, they suggest a new construction of twisted analytic torsion for the complex of invariant differential forms on the total space of a principal circle bundle twisted by an invariant flux form. In the even-dimensional case the torsion is invariant under certain deformations of the metric and the flux form. The authors also establish a \(T\)-duality relation for these twisted torsion invariants.
