Let CTor be the coalgebraic tensor product functor. By definition, CTor's are the homology, in the category of Hopf algebras, of certain chain complexes constructed using infinite loop spaces associated to the Brown-Peterson spectrum. This homology is isomorphic to the homology of a smaller chain complex obtained using Wilson spaces (see [\textit{T. Kashiwabara} and \textit{W. S. Wilson}, J. Math. Kyoto Univ. 41, No.~1, 43--95 (2001; Zbl 1039.55004)]). In this paper the author formalizes this process and shows that such methods can be used efficiently to compute CTor's in certain cases.
