Irregular Wakimoto modules and the Casimir connection (Q987192)

In this paper the author constructs, via a non-commutative localization, and studies some non-highest weight modules over an affine Kac-Moody algebra at a non-critical level. Using free field realization, the author embeds the ring of differential operators on a certain complement of a hyperplane arrangement into the endomorphism ring of such modules and identifies the action of these differential operators on the space of coinvariants with respect to a level subalgebra with the Casimir connection. Finally, the author constructs a functor from the category of modules of the affine Kac-Moody algebra to the category of \(\mathcal{D}\)-modules on the complement of hyperplanes.
