Periodic billiard orbits on \(n\)-dimensional ellipsoids with impacts on confocal quadrics and isoperiodic deformations (Q988913)

After a short but quite informative historical review of the progress with integration of the geodesic motions on the ellipsoids in the Introduction the paper continues with Section 2 in which the authors introduce the notation and collection of various mathematical results. The third and fourth sections are devoted to the billiard motions in the ellipsoids and their isoperiodic deformations. The paper ends with an Appendix in which are presented the details of the numerical check based on the freely available in the web integrator developed by E. Harrier, S. Nørsett and G. Wagner.
