Let \(X\) be a Banach space, let \({\mathcal L}(X)\) be the algebra of all bounded linear operators in \(X\). A family \(\Psi=\{T_\lambda\}_{\lambda\in\Upsilon}\subset {\mathcal L}(X)\) indexed by a directed set \(\Upsilon\) is called an operator net. Uniformly bounded operator nets satisfying \(\lim_{v\to\infty}\|T_\lambda(T_\mu-I)x\|=\lim_{v\to\infty}\|(T_\mu-I)T_\lambda x\|=0\), \(\forall x\in X\) are called Lotz-Räbiger nets (LR-nets). A vector \(x \in X\) is called a fixed vector for the net \(\Psi\) if \(T_\lambda x = x\) for every \(\lambda\in\Upsilon\). Denote by \(\text{Fix}(\Psi)\) the set of all fixed vectors of \(\Psi\). In the paper under review the authors investigate LR-nets of Markov operators in \(L^{1}\)-spaces. The main result of the paper gives a condition under which an LR-net of Markov operators converges strongly and possesses a finite-dimensional fixed space. Necessary and sufficient conditions for asymptotic stability of Markov LR-nets are provided.
