The objective of the paper is the study of a non-local elliptic equation with a nonlinear r.h.s. (an expoenential) depending on a probability measure. [This is a sort of mean-field equation arising in the high-energy scaling limit of point vortices with a circulation constraint, when the circulation number density is subject to a probability measure.] The authors investigate the blow-up behavior of sequences of solutions in relation to the circulation numbers.
