Lévy processes on quantum hypergroups
Quantum hypergroups are non-commutative versions of hypergroups. In the paper under review, Lévy-processes on quantum hypergroups are characterized as solutions of certain quantum stochastic differential equations under the restriction that on the underlying quantum hypergroup a version of the Schoenberg correspondence holds, which even forms a serious problem in the usual commutative hypergroup setting. It is shown in the paper that quantum double coset hypergroups admit the Schoenberg correspondence; moreover, the quantum double coset hypergroup \(U\langle 2\rangle //U\langle 1\rangle\) is studied as an example.NEWLINENEWLINEFor the entire collection see [Zbl 0964.00042].
