Observer design for nonlinear oscillatory systems
From MaRDI portal
The authors propose an observer for nonlinear oscillatory systems in Lagrangian form with a single measurement. The analysis is mainly based on contraction theory [\textit{W. Lohmiller} and \textit{J.-J. E. Slotine}, Automatica 34, No. 6, 683-696 (1998)]. It is shown that the proposed observer is asymptotically convergent. Simulations are provided, based on a 2-dof system with cubic nonlinearities, and then on a model of a cylindric gyroscope. For the entire collection see [Zbl 0915.00063].
