On almost periodic multivalued maps

From MaRDI portal

A representation of Castaing-Novikov type is given for Stepanov almost periodic multifunctions defined on the real line and taking nonempty closed values in a Polish space \(X\). The selectors creating such representations are required to be not only almost-periodic in the Stepanov sense, but also \(\{f_j: j= 1,2,\dots\}\) is precompact in the space \(L^\infty(\mathbb{R}, X)\) endowed with a suitable metric. Note that a multifunction, almost periodic in the classical Bohr meaning, may have no selectors which are Bohr almost-periodic. Remark: The English translation contains some inexactness, when compared with the Russian original; e.g., on p.~1 measurable space instead of metric space, Kasten instead of Castaing, etc.
