On nonlinear Hahn difference equations with maxima
From MaRDI portal
This paper investigates first- and second-order nonlinear Hahn difference equations with maxima. The existence and uniqueness of the solutions are obtained based on the theorem of step-by-step contraction. Then, a comparison theorem is given by constructing successive approximation sequences with the weakly Picard operator. Furthermore, the Ulam-type stability of the considered equations is also presented. The main results of this paper extend known facts valid for ordinary differential equations to Hahn difference equations.
