On regularly branched maps
From MaRDI portal
Abstract: Let be a perfect map between finite-dimensional metrizable spaces and . It is shown that the space of all bounded maps from into with the source limitation topology contains a dense -subset consisting of -regularly branched maps. Here, a map is -regularly branched if, for every , the dimension of the set is . This is a parametric version of the Hurewicz theorem on regularly branched maps.
