Non-integrability of the fourth-order truncated Toda Hamiltonian

The use of Ziglin's theorem enables the authors to prove the non- integrability of a polynomial Hamiltonian derived through the fourth- order truncation of the three-particle Toda lattice. This proof is extended to more general fourth order Hamiltonians.
