Pointwise and L₂ bounds in some nonstandard problems for the heat equation
From MaRDI portal
Publication:1406534
Some initial-boundary value problems for the heat equation are considered; the boundary data involve the square of the gradient of the solution. Pointwise bounds and \(L_2\) bounds for the solution and its gradient are established. The arguments mostly rely on the maximum principle and the trace inequality.
