Ist \(f(x)\) eine ganze Function \(n^{\text{ten}}\) Grades, welche, für \(x\) zwischen \(-l\) und \(+l\), innerhalb der Grenzen \(-L\) und \(+L\), und für alle Werthe des \(x\) ausserhalb \(-l\cdots + l\), ausserhalb \(-L \cdots + L\) liegt, so ist \[ \left( \frac{\sqrt{x^2} + \sqrt{x^2 - l^2}}{\sqrt{x^2} - \sqrt{x^2 - l^2} }\right) ^2 \geqq \frac{\sqrt{f^2(x)} + \sqrt{f^2(x) - L^2}}{\sqrt{f^2(x)} - \sqrt{f^2(x) - L^2}}, \] wo für die Wurze die positiven Werthe zu nehmen sind.
