A direct spectral collocation Poisson solver in polar and cylindrical coordinates
From MaRDI portal
Publication:1568615
The authors introduce a spectral collocation method for the Poisson equation in polar and cylindrical coordinates. Gauss-Radau collocation points are used if the origin lies on the domain boundary. The method requires the solution of the discrete radial eigenvalue problem as a set-up step.
