The Ree groups \(^2G 2(q)\) and \(2\)-\((v,k,1)\) block designs
\(G\) be a block primitive automorphism group of a 2-\((v,k,1)\) design. Here it is shown that \(G\) is point primitive if \({}^2G_2(q)\trianglelefteq G\leq \Aut ({}^2G_2(q))\).
